The Spartan Community Health Center is located in the northwest wing of Lima Senior High School and is open to all district students, staff and their families.
The center is a partnership between the Lima City Schools and Health Partners of Western Ohio (HPWO).
The center offers a wide variety of services: Whole family health care, women's health, sports and work physicals, sick visits and behavioral health services.
The center also now has behavioral health providers in all of the district's buildings.
Patients have access to Health Partners of Western Ohio's full retail pharmacy that offers a number of discount medications. The pharmacy offers home/office delivery within a 10-mile radius. District employees can get medicatons delivered to work.
Students seen at the center either need a signed consent from their parent or guardian prior to receiving treatment, or a two-person parent/guardian verbal consent over the phone at the time of service.
