The Project Lead The Way program gives students the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of Engineering Sciences. Students learn about engineering principals, culminating in a team project involving research, design, testing and construction of a solution to an open-ended engineering problem. 

 

This program is taught in a hands-on simulation format. At the end of the two-year program, students are eligible to receive college credit for specific sections. Project Lead The Way has students using a design development process while enriching problem solving skills. Students create and analyze models using specialized computer software. 

 

Students learn to work in teams, lead teams, conduct research, analyze data and understand real-world impacts. Students in the program are preparing for careers as computer technicians, computer aided design operators, engineering technicians, electrical engineers and mechanical engineers.
